This gold‑infused, hand‑blown cristallo Murano chandelier exemplifies Venetian artistry at its finest. The piece features five gracefully undulating scroll arms with hanging gold‑trimmed floral glass elements, matching the trim on the central bowl and rigaree‑trimmed bobeches. Adorned with glass flowers and ascending foliate fronds that bloom around the center column, it is further accented by tiny green, bud‑like glass drops suspended from the tips of the leaves, lending a delicate, jewel‑tone contrast.
Inspired by the Ca’ Rezzonico chandeliers first created by Giuseppe Briati in 18th‑century Venice, this vintage example offers a refined interpretation of that opulent style. Its body and arms are crafted from clear Venetian glass enriched with 24‑carat gold leaf, giving the surface distinctive depth and radiance.
