About the Item
Born in Murano in 1935, Carlo grew up in the old family furnace where glass experts introduced him to the most refined techniques of the island.
He quickly started to collaborate with other glass workshops, with special attention to modern design and achieving a combination of technique and craftsmanship which characterizes his projects.
A vintage Italian pendant lamp designed by Carlo Nason for Mazzega. Twelve "H" shape slabs of thick Murano "ice" glass with rough texture make up the outside perimeter of this chandelier and four more encircle the central light bulb. Measures: 18.5".
