Murano Glass Pendant , Vintage Lighting Accent , 1970's Italian lighting Designer
Stunning Murano chandelier from the Atomic Era, made in clear blown glass and designed in the style of celebrated designer Carlo Nason and his creations for Mazzega. The piece reminds especially the famous Lotus table lamp or the Jellyfish chandelier.
Naturally made in Italy, the chandelier is a sensational example of Space Age design. The fluid lines of its seamless glass body are very futuristic and timeless. It's fitted with a big ring and a chain for hanging, but they can easily be replaced with a thin metal wire to achieve a very minimal look. This configuration is also pictured.
The piece is wired and in working conditions as proved by the pictures; it's preserved in pristine conditions with just minor patina on the chromed parts and comes ready to be installed and enjoyed !
