About the Item
This fine pair of English neoclassical candelabra have diamond cut columns
above circular star cut bases. The ormolu twin branch arms support rectangular
trays suspended with prisms, topped with twin candle nozzles. The pair of candelabra are from a pattern by John Blades, five Ludgate Hill and can be found in Ackermann's. John Blades was glass maker to the King. For more information, see M. Mortimer; the English glass chandelier.
