About the Item

19th century antique Venetian Mohren chandelier wood sculpture Standing on pillows in oriental robe and in her right hand a fire bowl as a candleholder. Probably Northern Italy / Venice, late 19th century Fairytale and colorful painting. Wood carved, painted, painted and partly gilded. Pillow pedestal standing, clad in robe and pleated breeches and turban. Right arm held up with cornucopia. Extremely high quality and rich gold leaf finishing. The figure was expertly preserved and restored in batches.
