About the Item
In 1958, Alain Richard invented the first French spotlight called "cylindrical type adjustable spotlight" in the Disderot catalog of the time and declined it in a real range of lighting including floor lamps, table lamps, wall lamps etc. This A14 floor lamp is a designer's classic with its minimal and refined style thanks to its structure made entirely of chrome-plated steel. Alain Richard is a major French designer of the 1950s and 70s who won the grand prize at the Milan Triennale in 1954, the Universal Exhibition in 1958, and the René-Gabriel Prize in 1964.
