During the early 20th century, Scandinavian design began moving toward a new visual language that merged classical craftsmanship with modernist ideals. The Art Deco period played a role in shaping this evolution, introducing a sense of refinement and geometry that balanced luxury with restraint. In Scandinavia, this aesthetic was translated through classic materials and subtle detailing, resulting in objects that combined decorative harmony with functionality.
This adjustable floor lamp embodies a refined sensibility with its graceful and versatile design. In good vintage condition. Wear consistent with age and use. The lamp has recently been rewired and reconditioned. This lamp should only be used with LED light bulbs. The shade is a later replacement and was custom made by our in-house atelier. Due to the age and nature of the brass, item may have some marks, scratches, and discolouration.
