Elegant early 20th-century Italian floor lamp in carved and polychrome wood, featuring gilt dolphins, vine leaves, and grapes in rich green and gold tones. A striking Grotto or Baroque Revival statement piece, circa 1910.
An impressive early 20th-century Italian carved wooden floor lamp in the Grotto or Baroque Revival style, featuring a richly detailed composition of dolphins, scrolling vines, and clusters of grapes.
The hand-carved wooden structure is painted in elegant shades of green and gold, achieving a softly aged patina that enhances its sculptural depth. The lamp rests on three large, stylized dolphins — a signature decorative motif evoking both classical and maritime influences.
One socket for an E27 (E26) size light bulb.
Lampshade included.
