The European Art Deco movement of the 1930s was a beacon of innovation and style, and the period from which this brass and wood floor lamp emerged. This exquisite piece of functional art epitomises the elegance and sophistication that characterised the Art Deco era throughout Europe.
With its brass body and off-white fabric shade, this lamp has an unmistakeable look that mixes artistic touches and materials to create an overall impression of elegant luxury. Although at the turn of the 20th century the ornate style of Classical Revival lighting was at its height of popularity, lighting design underwent a transformation in aesthetic and style from the 1920s through the 1930s.
