About the Item
Striking Art Deco uplight pendant, the iconic "Luminator" model manufactured by Gottlieb Brothers
Brauchbar in Brno, Czechoslovakia, under license from Luminator Inc., Chicago. Designed and patented by Albert L. Arenberg, this rare European example exemplifies the era's bold geometry with its gleaming polished chrome trumpet form that directs light upward for dramatic ceiling glow. Recently professionally polished and rewired for safety and compatibility, it retains the original E40 socket (up to 200W) with included adapter for standard E26/E27 bulbs and full US wiring compatibility. Current maximum height from base to ceiling is approximately 215 cm (84.6 inches) but can be easily shortened.
A true collector's piece of interwar design, perfect for Art Deco interiors, modern lofts or as a sculptural statement in any sophisticated space.
