About the Item
Quintessential Machine Age, Art Deco design incorporating chromed metal elements, with streamlined wood trim, forming the vertical center pole, mounted on a faux wood painted disk form base.The lamp accepts three standard size bulbs which surround the center glass shade, which also has a larger size bulb for additional light. The three lower and one upper bulb have independent on/off switches, to allow different levels of illumination.
Reminiscent of the designs of Donald Deskey, and Gilbert Rohde , the lamp also shows a distinct French Deco flair as well.
This example is in very good, original clean and working condition, the base shows minor loss to its paint finish, please see images.
