About the Item
Machine-age, art deco, spun aluminum "Flip-Top" floor lamp by Kurt Versen offers incredible design and versatility for use as an up lit, torchiere lamp when flipped up, or flipped down for use as a reading light. The shade hinges on a chrome plated brass arm movement and accepts two medium socket bulbs up to 75 watts each. The base is 11 inches diameter, the shade is 17 inches diameter and the lamp grows to 62 inches overall height when flipped up.
The flip top convertible floor lamp by Kurt Versen was created in the art deco era but it certainly has all the elements of a mid-century point of view and would be equally at home in either environment.
