About the Item
This Art Deco Industrial floor sun lamp was made by General Electric of Canada is approximately 1940, most likely for the medical industry. The lamp is done with a heavy stepped metal shade, with an adjustable tilt mechanism on the shaft and a stepped dome base. The entire lamp is done in a deep matte chocolate brown paint and has Industrial castors on the base. The lamp is in working condition, but the wiring is original and has not been tested with a sun lamp bulb. The lamp turns on and off with a toggle switch on the base, which function as intended.
