Artiforte Magneto floor lamp design by H. Fillekes 1950s Netherlands
Very rare floor lamp, from the Dutch brand Artiforte, not to be confused with the furniture brand Artifort.
This lamp has only been in production for a very short time and therefore very rare, a design by H. Fillekes.
This very innovative lamp is very similar to the later rod lamps from other manufacturers that we know from the late 1960s and 1970s, but the design of this lamp is much older, the design dates back to 1954.
The innovative and very special thing about this lamp is the ball joint that can be moved freely in all directions by means of an extremely strong magnet, making the lamp infinitely variable in all positions.
The whole is over 65 years old and was found in this condition with the first owner. The lamp is still in very neat condition for its age, with appropriate traces of use which are never disturbing to our eyes.
This lamp is one of the rarest lamps on the market designed and produced in the Netherlands, making it a very exclusive collector's item.
