About the Item

Exceptional Bauhaus / Art Deco floor lamp. Designed by Karl Trabert (attributed), 1928. Manufactured by Schanzenbach Co., Frankfurt am Main, Germany, 1930s. This lamp doesn't have the so called 'diffuna' original special paper shade, but a plexiglass one which should have come later as a replacement. Executed in nickel-plated brass and metal sheet, matte plexiglass, the lamp needs 1 x E27 / E 26 Edison screw fit bulb, is rewired, and in working condition. It runs both on 110 / 230 volt. Interrupter on the cord. Good condition. Wear consistent with use and age.
