About the Item
Minimalist black counterbalance floor lamps by Sölken, featuring a double-arm design with two counterweights. Highly flexible and engineered for precision, the arms pivot nearly 180 degrees, allowing for exceptional adjustability and focused illumination.
Each lamp features a long arm fitted with a halogen light source, balanced by a round disc counterweight to ensure smooth movement and optimal usability. The arms are mounted on a vertical stem, anchored by a weighted base with a brass hemispherical element that provides excellent stability.
Manufactured by Sölken Leuchten, Germany, circa 1970, these lamps exemplify the technical elegance of late modernist German design. They function beautifully as reading lamps or adjustable spotlights and offer remarkable versatility.
The original halogen light source is now available as LED, and the lamps are ready for immediate use.
Height adjusts between approximately 110 and 150 cm.
