About the Item
Minimalist brushed bronze counterbalance floor lamps by Solken, designed in the 1970s. Both sculptural and highly functional, this lamp was conceived as a focused reading light with an elegantly engineered form.
The long horizontal arm is mounted on an angled stem and pivots nearly 180 degrees, allowing for exceptional flexibility and precise light positioning. A spherical halogen light source is balanced by a counterweight at the opposite end, enabling smooth and effortless movement. The arm connects to the stem via a semi-spherical joint, enhancing its adjustability.
The lamp is anchored by a substantial weighted base with a brass hemispherical element, ensuring excellent stability. The halogen light source provides bright, focused illumination, making this lamp ideal for reading or task lighting.
