About the Item

Dana Lamp Designed by Jean-Pierre Garrault Henri Delord Dana is a luminous sphere suspended in time and space, a lamp with an elegant metal structure that captivates the eye with its strong material presence, leaving a striking impression in any room. Rediscovered and reissued by Tacchini, the extroverted Dana by Jean-Pierre Garrault and Henri Delord is a lamp with a bold personality, characterized by two large glowing spheres that seem to rise toward the sky. Rooted in the creative spirit of the 1970s, Dana was inspired by the moment when the designers saw the full moon rise and pass over Mount Fujiyama. The project came to life following a "Meccano"-like design method, reducing technical solutions to a few essential elements that allow for multiple variations. G.O. 352 Floor Lamp by Giuseppe Ostuni for Oluce
By Giuseppe Ostuni, Oluce
Located in Brooklyn, NY
The G.O. lamp is the revival edition of a model designed for Oluce by Giuseppe Ostuni in the 1960s. A lamp that, in the essence of its design, is extremely current, characterised by a vertical shaft from which a horizontal arm branches off and on which the lampshade is mounted. The arm, thanks to the system of joints, is therefore a sliding element that can be repositioned and oriented depending on specific needs. A family which maintains the style of the original design, like the use of the cylindrical lampshade and the contrast between the materials with which the various elements are made. The revival edition is enhanced by precious details in satin gold, which stand out in contrast with the black nickel – of the arm – and the colours of the base and the lampshade, these last two available in three different colours: black, scarlet, and anodic bronze. The use of colour gives energy and a fresh modern look to the original design which was intended for a single tabletop...
