About the Item
This mid-century French floor lamp embodies the era’s embrace of industrial minimalism. Two perforated metal shades, finished in a soft ivory hue, are suspended from a slender chrome stem atop a round weighted base, their adjustable positioning allowing for a sculptural interplay of light and shadow.
The perforations subtly diffuse illumination, lending a soft atmospheric glow. A testament to postwar European modernism, this piece captures the essence of utilitarian elegance, where adaptability and aesthetic clarity converge.
Condition: In good vintage condition, with minor oxidation and surface scuffs. This lamp has been professionally rewired for U.S. use by our team of restorationists. The hand switch controls one or both bulbs. Accepts two E26 light bulbs.
