Rare Floor Lamp Attributed to Alfred Chambon, France circa 1900 An exceptional and rare floor lamp attributed to French architect Alfred Chambon (1860–1926), dating from around 1900. This piece features a finely carved and fluted wooden shaft, a sculptural globe-shaped element with stylized botanical motifs, and a polished burl wood domed base. It combines classical elegance with architectural presence. The design is a striking example of Chambon's refined neoclassical aesthetic, suitable for historic interiors or as a bold statement in a contemporary setting. Excellent original condition with minor signs of age. The wood is well-preserved and richly patinated. Structurally sound and fully functional. The gilded metal shade shown in the photos (Ø 61 cm x H 27 cm) is not included in the sale price. It is shown for styling purposes only. A suitable shade can be recommended or sourced upon request. Provenance: Attributed to Alfred Chambon, known for his opulent interiors and architectural works in France and Belgium during the Belle Époque and early Art Deco periods.
