About the Item
Elegant, sophisticated and chic, this postmodern, Hollywood Regency uplight, torchiere floor lamp is in very good, original, clean and ready to use condition, showing only light cosmetic wear, normal and consistent with age. The brass plated bowl shade rests on a glass disk, which is mounted on a chrome fitment, then a long and tapering brass vertical pole, on and heavy disk base. The lamp is operated by an in line on/off/switch, and is currently wired for US application. Reminiscent of the designs of Karl Springer, Michael DeSantis and other luminaries form the period, this example is marked Made in Italy.
