About the Item

Beautifully cast Italian neoclassical style bronze floor lamp modeled after an original excavated at Pompeii or Herculaneum. With acanthus leaf decoration above and below the reeded shaft and expertly chased and detailed tripod legs ending in animal paw feet. 68 inches high.
