About the Item
Kho Liang Le was a student of the Gerrit Rietveld Academy of Amsterdam.
He held a central position in Dutch design from the end of the 1950s to the mid 1970s with his designs of furniture and interiors. He worked major manufacturers as Artifort, Van Spaendonck, Fristho an many others.
This K46 was first produced in 1957 than in two small batches in 1975 and 1984 by Atelier Artiforte, then reedited since 2000.
The lamp is now considered as an icon of his work.
