Le lampadaire "Coquilles Saint-Jacques" de Willy Daro est une pièce exceptionnelle qui incarne le luxe et la sophistication des années 1970, période durant laquelle le designer belge est devenu célèbre pour son travail de sculpture en laiton. Ce lampadaire se distingue par son éclairage indirect et son esthétique inspirée de la nature, caractéristique du style de Daro, qui s'inspire souvent de formes organiques et marines. Réalisé en laiton avec une patine canon de fusil, le lampadaire présente un contraste subtil entre ses surfaces sombres et brillantes, renforçant son aspect raffiné. La base carrée et le fût cylindrique bagué apportent une stabilité visuelle et physique, tout en mettant en valeur le somptueux réflecteur formé de quatre coquilles Saint-Jacques.
