Floor lamp produced by Lamperti around 1970, made entirely of chromed steel. The project reflects the technological and experimental aesthetics of Italian design of the seventies, a period strongly influenced by the Space Age imagery.
The metal structure is characterized by horizontal light slits that allow light to filter through the metal, generating a calibrated and dynamic scenic effect. The indirect and modulated light emission creates a play of chiaroscuro that emphasizes the verticality of the lamp and the reflective quality of the chrome surface.
