About the Item

A striking 1960s globe floor lamp attributed to German-Swiss manufacturer Temde Leuchten. The white circular globe suspends from an arched frame composed of black plywood. Notches along the sides allow for the height of the globe to be adjusted. When illuminated, the globe provides a soft, diffused light. Switzerland, 1960s. Condition: Good overall vintage condition. This lamp has been professionally rewired for U.S. use with a new socket, black cloth cord, and foot switch. The plywood frame displays light scratches, scuffs, and minor chips, as shown in photos.
