About the Item
Monumental Italian palm-shaped floor lamp, made in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The slender structure culminates in a rich composition of overlapping leaves in shaped metal, characterized by pronounced ribbing and a strong impact.
The golden brass finish gives the lamp a sculptural and refined appearance, while the light source, hidden in the foliage, diffuses a warm, enveloping light that enhances the three-dimensionality of the leaves. Designed as an architectural element rather than a simple light fixture, this floor lamp is designed for large, representative rooms.
An emblematic example of Italian decorative production of the period, rare in size and stage presence.
