Mid-Century Modern Brass Floor Lamp in the style of Jacques Adnet for Valenti, Spain. Hollywood Regency Style.
Rare mid-century floor lamp by Valenti. This design is often attributed to French designer Jacques Adnet. However, this is incorrect.
An impressive design in shiny brass. The design is based on the shape of a cone. The heavy base is cone-shaped. The same shape is found at the other end in the shade. Both cones are connected by a shaft. The shaft describes a perfect semicircle in the upper area. The shade can be adjusted within a small radius via a ball joint. The lamp has a foot switch.
It is in very good condition with signs of wear. The electrical system has been professionally renewed and the surface polished by a craftsman.
