Midcentury amazing cylindrical floor lamp in bamboo, rattan and fabric cotton in the style of Louis Sognot.
Made in Italy in the 1970s.
It uses 1 bulbs.
A beautiful lamp that is perfectly working but most of all, it provides an amazing visual impact in every room. European plug (works outside EU with a simple plug adapter).
Louis Sognot was a French designer best known for his elegant furniture made from a combination of rattan and wood. Sognot was influenced by Art Deco and Cubist aesthetics, giving his work a unique stylistic flair while also being usable. Born on May 25, 1892 in Paris, France, Sognot studied at the École Bernard-Pablissy before working as a designer at the Au Printemps department store in Paris in 1919. The designer went on to become a founding member of the Union des Artistes Decoroteurs. He died in 1970 in Paris, France.
