Towering in at over eight feet tall, The Tree of Souls is the most developed and imposing life form found to date in The Industrial Evolution Collection. Extending vertically, initially from six different points of contact, the twisting and converging structure provides a stable center core allowing the limbs, which carry the four large vintage Crouse Hinds industrial light housings, to diverge and spread out. Looking at this floor lamp never gets old. Designed by David Rozek, manufactured at his Pandemic Design Studio location outside of Philadelphia, PA. Patented in The US and Foreign Countries. We have taken the idea of the pipe fitting industrial light to the next level and are proud to offer a peerless example of modern industrial lighting both in quality, design integrity, and sophistication to complement your industrial decor and complete your modern industrial interior design! The Inspiration The Industrial Evolution Lighting Collection is an imaginative and dark projection of a post apocalyptic future where the human species has lost control over what it had previously manufactured. The products of industry that were formally used as vital pieces in the construction of the human’s built environment are now alive and have begun to assemble, grow, and think independently from their original creator. Evolution is rapidly taking place. Fruit or larva is present, indicating that they are now capable of reproducing. Bioluminescent features activated only in response to human touch have been discovered. Although a strong exoskeleton is apparent in all forms, cantilevered limbs and extensions suggest the presence of either a rooted substructure and vehicle to acquire sustenance or an additional internal structural or balancing system. The Collectors Series subcategory of The Industrial Evolution Collection is populated only by life forms whose bioluminescent capabilities have evolved using only elusive and rare specimens of antique and vintage industrial explosion proof components and lighting assemblies produced by the Crouse Hinds Company of Syracuse, NY. USA. Materials: Galvanized steel pipe fittings (various sizes) 4 Antique Crouse Hinds explosion proof light housings, globe, and cages 4 Vintage Edison Style T-9 bulbs. Commercially available Features: 6 Ft. black cord with dimmer switch included. Elevated base flanges on four ¼ inch feet to allow cord access. Specifications: 19 in (L) 32 in. (W) 100 in.
