About the Item

These two gray and black lacquered steel frame floor lamps by Dutch designer Menno Dieperink, have a long slender shape with two round ‘milk’ glass disks at the top that are upheld by V-shaped brackets. The light of the lamps is directed to the ceiling, which results in a soft, diffuse light. The red electric wire that goes all the way up from the base to the light source is a nice detail to the elemental geometric shapes that seem to be influenced by the post-modern Memphis group. Both lamps are handmade and slightly different from one another, adding to their uniqueness. Most likely only 10 of these lamps have ever been produced. Condition: In good vintage condition. Wear consistent with age and use. Some minor scratches on the steel base. Dimensions: 13 in W x 11.81 in D x 77.17 in H 33 cm W x 30 cm D x 196 cm H Shipping: These lamps will be packaged and shipped with the greatest care to make sure you will receive the items in gallery condition. Complimentary shipping within the Netherlands.
