About the Item
A beautiful pair of polished brass floor lamps by the Spanish lighting manufacturer Estiluz. The floor lamps were made in Spain in the 1980s and are designed by Leonardo Marelli. The lamps are fitted with a curved and etched glass shade. The floor lamps are dimmable and new dimmable LED lights were placed. The pieces were gently cleaned and are in very good condition and are working flawlessly. They are suited for the US as well as European electricity.
In 1969, Gerard Masdeu Jordà founded Estiluz, a firm commitment to high-end decorative lighting, with innovative designs and handmade finishes. The Masdeu family controlled the whole process: Gerard took advantage of his creativity; his father, Anton Masdeu, and his brother, Eduard Masdeu, contributed with their extraordinary mastery of metal mechanization. The quality of their designs soon attracted attention at international fairs, leading Estiluz to open its first branch office in New York in 1993. Others would follow.
