Extremely rare postmodern "Metri" floor lamp designed by the German designer Bernhard Bartels and handcrafted in a very small number by Basis Designleuchten, Munich.
Bernhard Bartel (1948-2014) was a German designer known for his technical innovations in lighting design and founder of the lighting company Basis Designleuchten in Munich.
The sleek and minimalist design of this object reflects a focus on functionality and aesthetics, emphasizing clean lines, simplicity, and modern sophistication.
It boasts two articulations which allows it to be adjustable in various positions. Therefore it would also work great as a reading light.
Only a handful of these great lamps have been produced.
Height adjustable from 110 to 195 cm depending on the position.
