About the Item
In this listing you will find a design classic Titania Floor Lamp, manufactured by Italian manufacturer Luceplan after a design by Alberto Meda and Paolo Rizzatto. Here in the rare Terra version as a floor lamp. The Titania Terra has long been out of production and is correspondingly rare.
The lamp body as a reflector consists of a finely executed aluminum skeleton, which forms the shape of a wing. The light source is located in the center of the wing. It has yellow and green color filters which create the coloured light. The filters color the alumininium ribs, and functinal white light emerges from the center. The special feature of the Titania Terra is the lamp arm and base, which are very finely executed and gracefully curved ends in a counterweight. The lamp head almost seems to float. The lamp is dimmable via the cord dimmer. Made in Italy in 1989.
Very good vintage condition. European plug can easily be adjusted for use putside of Europe by using the simple power adapter.
