A sculptural and rare Mid-Century Modern floor lamp by Italiana Luce, made in Italy circa 1960s. This elegant and refined piece features a continuous enameled steel rod set asymmetrically in a graceful, arcing form—an architectural gesture that blends functional design with sculptural artistry.
The original fabric shade wraps fluidly around the frame and is fully adjustable in height, allowing for precise control of light direction and ambiance. Whether casting a soft reading glow or creating moody accent lighting, the lamp is both versatile and striking.
Thoughtfully constructed with a minimalist silhouette, it is complete with its original foot switch and the maker’s mark clearly stamped on the base, verifying its authenticity and origin.
This rare lamp embodies the spirit of Italian postwar modernism, standing proudly alongside the work of design icons such as Angelo Lelli, Gino Sarfatti, Stilnovo, Arteluce, Gio Ponti, Achille Castiglioni, Ico Parisi, Cesare Lacca, and Ettore Sottsass.
