Robert Mathieu adjustable ball in socket floor lamp (Model 51) with black lacquered cast aluminum star base c. 1950.
Designed and produced in France during the early 1950s, the lamp is documented in the April 1952 issue of Mobilier et Decoration, one of the most influential French design publications of the postwar era.
