About the Item
Rare floor lamp, designed by Reinhard Stubenrauch for Stubenrauch Lichtobjekte in Berlin around 1990.
The lamp is made of oxidation-resistant, polished, and partially perforated stainless steel. The design is striking, with an angelic quality. As it was handcrafted by Reinhard Stubenrauch himself, this sculpture is a true one-of-a-kind piece. The combination of form and material creates a warm light and a beautiful interplay of light and shadow.
The lamp uses a halogen bulb with a transformer. The transformer is designed for 220V. In its current configuration, the lamp cannot be used in the USA, for example. Upon request, it can be converted to a standard E12/E14 or E26/E27 socket, making the lamp suitable for worldwide use. Please let us know if you would like this conversion. The light color may vary from the photos shown.
The lamp is in very good vintage condition with minor signs of wear and a beautiful patina.
The wings are removable and are disassembled for shipping. They can easily be reattached.
