About the Item

Iconic floor lamp mod. 12628 "Siluro" designed by Angelo Lelii for Arredoluce, 1957. Trademark of the manufacture. Brushed and painted brass frame, marble base, white and yellow plexiglass diffusers, excellent condition. Model extensively documented in the bibliography Arredoluce catalog raisonné edited by A. Pansera, A. Padoan and A. Palmaghini. This rare lamp was designed by designer as well as entrepreneur Angelo Lelii, who with his company Arredoluce was able to revolutionize the world of lighting with his choice of high-quality materials and his inexhaustible executive imagination. In 1947 he presented the 12128 lamp at the 8th Milan Triennale, achieving great success that guaranteed him important collaborations. Aluminum, Plexiglas, brass and glass are the materials with which he manages to create his luminous, ingenious yet elegant works of art.
