About the Item
A sculptural floor lamp designed by Pete Sans for Taller Uno, Spain, in the 1990s. The chrome-plated stem, wrapped in cognac leather, rises to a cantilevered arm with a pivoting joint, finishing in a conical parchment shade hand-laced in leather.
The tripod foot is cleverly articulated—one leg swings outward to stabilize on command—while the shade rotates 180º to direct light where needed. Both functional and architectural—place beside a reading chair or flanking a sofa, casting a warm, diffused glow.
Condition: Great vintage condition. Chrome shows light surface wear and patina throughout. Parchment shade displays subtle creasing and minor marks, consistent with age. This lamp has been professionally rewired by our team of restorationists with a new plug. Accepts one E26 base light bulb.
