Named after a character from Ubik, the iconic sci-fi novel by Philippe K. Dick, this piece is typical of the work of Philippe Starck from the 1980s. It is a table that is not really a table and a lamp that is not really a lamp it is a lighting sculpture that illustrates the irony and the distopian concerns that are emphasized in his work from the 1980s. This piece is one of the most iconic and historical piece by the French designer, a must have for any design collection.
