About the Item
Hollywood Regency large gilt sunflower flush mount by Ferro Art (also known as Ferroarte), Spain, 1950s. Wrought iron structure in the shape of a big sunflower formed by a double crown of different sized leaves welded to a central circle, where the molded and convex diffuser is helded and pretends to be the sunflower seeds. Finished with gold leaf.
It also reminds us of a big sun, with its rays of sunlight of various sizes welded as a crown around its perimeter, creating a unique lighting effect.
Note: They can be used as a wall lights or sconces too.
Starburst and sunburst style ceiling light. Brutalist and Mid-Century styles. Very much in the style also of the French creations of Maison Jansen and Maison Charles, and the Spanish creations of Ferrocolor. Very much in the style of the brutalist Italian creations of Longobard. It reminds us also of the creations of Willy Daro for Massive.
For 2 E127 bulbs (comaptible with E26 bulbs). Original lampholders and renewed wiring. LED compatible. Signs of wear and tear of the passage of time. Rust marks.
