A pair of incredibly rare French Metro bulkhead lights, made by Holophane. c.1920.
Originally used to illuminate the tunnels and walkways of the French Metro system in and around Paris, these elliptical bulkhead lights have survived in beautiful original condition - the copper casings having developed a rich, natural verdigris patina over time. The 10" glass bowls stamped 'Holophane' and 'Made in France'. Priced as a pair.
