This refined French Art Nouveau flush-mount ceiling light dates to the circa 1920s and exemplifies the movement’s organic elegance and sculptural approach to functional design.
The fixture features a richly worked brass canopy formed as overlapping leaves, radiating outward in a naturalistic composition that anchors the lamp visually to the ceiling. The sculpted foliage not only defines the aesthetic but also serves a practical purpose: discreet mounting points allow the fixture to be securely fixed directly to the ceiling, making it ideal for rooms with lower ceiling heights.
Three gracefully curved brass arms support flower-shaped glass shades, combining partly frosted and clear glass.
