France, 1940-1950
Sculptural sunburst ceiling light fixture with leaves frame surrounding a central spherical plate in the shape of a flower, gilt iron, gold leaf
This stunning flower shaped sunburst flush mount was nicely constructed with naturalistic inspiration.
Showing its original gold leaf finish with rusty accents on the gilding creating a terrific aged patina.
This piece was entirely made by hand, it shows a nice hand-crafted metalwork and a full of movement design. Hollywood Regency style and Brutalist accents.
It can be placed as a flush mount or as a wall light.
It will be a nice addition to any powder room, bedroom or entry hall.
Newly wired.
