Sunburst Shaped Ceiling Light Fixture with Leaves Details, Gilt Iron, Frosted Glass
Stunning hand-hammered iron and frosted glass leafed sunburst flush mount. France, 1940s-1950s.
This gorgeous ceiling flush mount light fixture features an iron ring structure adorned by two beautiful layers or iron leaves highlighting the backplate. A twisted iron rope surrounding the central frosted glass difusser.
It has a beautiful design in transition from Hollywood Regency to Mid-century Modern. Original gold lef gilding and terrific patina.
Beautiful placed alone but also interesting mixed with other light fixtures in this manner to create a ceiling or a wall composition.
