About the Item

Hollywood Regency wrought iron flush mount by Ferro Art (also known as Ferroarte), Spain, 1950s. Handmade wrought iron structure using metalwork techniques such as hammered, welded and hand-crafted. The leaves are welded as a crown to a central metal piece with a braided edge. Gold leaf and paint finish. It can be used as a wall light or sconce too. This lamp can work with normal bulbs, but it is recommended to use the reflex bulbs in gold or silver to create a unique lighting effect. Mid-Century Modern and Starburst style ceiling light. Very much in the style also of Maison Jansen and Maison Charles’s French creations, of Ferrocolor’s Spanish creations, and the brutalist Italian creations of Longobard. Very vintage fixture, with a certaing Gothic Revival, Tudor and Brutalist air. Very similar to Willy Daro's Belgium creations for Massive Lighting. For one E27 bulb (compatible with E26 USA bulbs). Original electrical installation reviewed and fully operational. LED compatible. Slight signs of wear and tear from the passage of time. Note: We always try to the fullest to respect and preserve as much as possible all the original elements of each piece (wiring, lampshade, finishes...) so as not to alter the original aesthetics and so that they can continue to have another life with their intact soul. That is why sometimes certain elements can present wear and tear, but they are part of the life of each piece, always providing a very pleasant patina.
