About the Item
One of a pair of funky vintage mid-century modern wall lights or sconces designed by the Swedish interior designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson for German lighting manufacturer Glashütte Limburg, circa 1975-1985. Featuring geometric shaped mouth blown topaz dark "smoked" toned textured glass elements with polished brass mounts and reflector crowns - which are perfect for avoiding direct glair - very useful in the bedroom, bathroom or hallway for example.
Each light requires a single E27 (E26 for the US) light bulb (75Watt Max.) Newly rewired.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
