About the Item

Large Mid-Century cocoon ceiling lamp with a characteristic pattern by German manufacturer Goldkant, based on a design by Friedel Wauer from the 1960s. The lamp consists of a flat cylinder that is mounted directly under the ceiling. In the center, there is a metal disc with a screw that connects the lamp body to the base plate. The special feature is the graphic pattern on the edge of the shade with squares and circles. The lamp is no longer labeled, but there are still traces of the sticker. The manufacturer Goldkant was known at the time for its various Cocoon lamp designs. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of wear and patina.
