About the Item

Each flush mount vintage fixture features a solid pale grey porcelain base paired with a cylindrical opaline milk-glass shade. The glass diffuser produces a soft, evenly distributed glow when illuminated, providing comfortable ambient light without glare. This makes them particularly suitable for bathrooms, hallways, circulation spaces, and smaller rooms where low-profile, dependable lighting is essential. Salvaged from hotels in Prague during the 1970s, these vintage flush mount lights reflect the clean, functional design language that characterised late-modernist interiors across former Czechoslovakia. Their pared-back form and honest materials give them a quiet confidence, making them especially well suited to contemporary spaces that value subtle retro character over ornament. Compact in scale, measuring approximately 100 mm in diameter, these minimalist ceiling lights sit neatly against the ceiling, blending seamlessly into both modern and period interiors. German flame proof strip light with shades / glass guard. An extremely substantial statement piece modified by our team and ready to install commercially or at home. These lights are a real example of vintage Industrial lighting that you just don't see these days, in fact it would have been impossible to buy these back when they where manufactured for Nato vessels and hazardous environments. Original item salvaged from supertankers and military vessels then stripped and refinished in the UK. The original wiring is replaced with our Loomlight wiring system which exceeds the original specification and also conforms to British standards. All of our tube lights are supplied with a 12 month warranty as standard. The main body is cast aluminium and the tube is formed from glass which is appx 1/2 inch thick and is also flame proof.  There are serial numbers and makers marks throughout. The two brackets on the top are where you would connect the chain, installation would require two ceiling hooks, or it can be wall-mounted, they look great when mounted vertically and the IP55 rating makes them suitable for bathrooms, kitchens wet zones etc. These lights work really well above pool / Snooker tables...
