About the Item
This rare mid-century flush mount combines Finnish brass craftsmanship with traditional Karelian-style hand-crocheted lacework, resulting in a uniquely atmospheric lighting piece. The wide, shallow textile shade features intricate geometric motifs associated with the folk traditions of Karelia—a region known for its rich heritage of weaving, lace, and decorative handicrafts. When illuminated, the lamp casts beautifully patterned shadows across the ceiling, highlighting the fineness of the handmade crochet and creating a warm, diffused glow characteristic of Scandinavian domestic interiors of the period.

Technical Details
